Park riders are in paradise in Avoriaz with it's four awesome parks! Avoriaz is home to Europe's first giant eco-friendly snowpark known as "The Stash". Great for a day of riding on all natural material. Trashers with it's boxes and mini-jumps is always good for a ride. There are two other parks in Avoriaz, the Chapelle and Arare. Chapelle is great for all levels. Arare is known for having big jumps for those more advanced freestylers. There are also two pipes in Avoriaz...

The idea of this snowpark was developed by Jake Burton himself of Burton Snowboards. This is the first eco-friendly superpark in all of Europe and the 2nd in the world after California. The Stash is 1.3 km long with 470 m descent and endless natural wooden elements to ride. Trees bent like rainbows, wooden tables, wooden rails, rock obstacles and more. You will have to come and ride it for yourself to see all that it has to offer.
Keep in mind, this area of the park is not groomed. The park is reached via the Prolaise lift. For more info, click here!

Trashers snowpark opened in December 2006 and was originally designed for kids aged 5- 12 yr olds. This is the only park of it's kind in europe specifically geared towards the younger generation. This is also a great park for beginners of all ages with mini jumps, kicks, small tables, etc. The park is 400m long and can be accessed by the Trashers lift right next to the apartment buildings in La Falaise zone.
La Chapelle, started in 2002, is located in the main area of Avoriaz, under the Express Proclou lift, and is suitable for all levels. The park is 500m long and about 100m wide. Riders will enjoy 6 tables total in the park : 3 marked in green for beginners and 3 marked in blue for the more advanced. There are also rails, hips and boxes with jumps found in three rows. The park is accessible by the draglift of the Chapelle.
Arare snowpark, started in 1993, is traditionally for more confirmed riders. The park is 800m long and 80m wide. Riders will find rails, tables of varied lengths, wall, hips and a pipe. The park changes and advances as the season goes on so make sure to give a test run daily even if the park might look the same as the day before.
In the Arare Snowpark, helmets are obligatory!!! For more info (in French), click here!
