Lakes and Pools in and around Avoriaz
There are many lakes and rivers not far from the town of Avoriaz. Apart from all of the fast-paced white water activities, visitors can enjoy some excellent fishing and swimming in local lakes and rivers.
Fishing
Fishing is permitted in Lake Montriond, Mine d'Or Lake, Plan du Rocher Lake and the Dranse River. Permits are required.

Swimming Pools
There is a nice swimming centre in Avoriaz with a large heated pool and kiddy pool.

Morzine has a large swimming centre with a heated outdoor pool, indoor Olympic sized pool, more than one kiddy pools and a sporting area.
